Meet The Team
Sarah
Sarah joined the Sultana Beauty team in November 2021. As a client of Sultana's for over 7 years, Fern fell in love with the business. When the opportunity arose to take over the reins, both she and her husband Jonathan moved heaven and earth to make it happen.
Now, the investment into the business, and its’ future are a full-time joy. Sarah has also retrained in the artistry of make-up at The Central School of Make Up in Manchester. She assists the team in events and application in Sultana's dedicated make up studio.
Melanie
Melanie heads the team at Sultana as Manager. Having worked for Sultana for over 10 years, she’s part of the fabric and heart of the business. Responsible for the staff and smooth running of the salon, she is our most senior member with experience spanning every part of beauty therapy.
Melanie completed her studies as an NVQ level 3 therapist over 12 years ago. Passionate about good skin, she works closely with our partners Elemis and Dermalogica, to keep abreast of treatment menus, their ingredients, and benefits. She heads up The Sultana Academy and trains the team on brand updates, improved techniques, and products. She loves facials, knows everything you need to know about skincare, and is also a pro at the nail bar.
Melanie loves her clients and enjoys catching up with their latest news. Outside of work, she loves cocktails and spending time with her family.
Tara
Tara joined Sultana in July 2021, after qualifying as an NVQ Level 2 Beauty Therapist in June of the same year. Tara returned to the UK in 2019, after a long stint travelling and working in Australia with her partner. She has a passion for beauty, and loves getting to know people and being part of their “me time”.
Tara has a passion for brows and has studied extensively on creating and maintaining the best brow for every brow type. When relaxing, Tara likes walking her dog and watching crime documentaries.
Shannon
Shannon has been qualified as an NVQ level 3 therapist for 8 years now, having started her career in spas. Her expertise has been enjoyed by the clients of Sultana for 7 years. Promoted to Senior Therapists in her 5th year, Shannon brings warmth and kind smiles to Sultana. She loves making her clients feel good about themselves, if you are happy, Shannon's happy. A professional in all areas of beauty therapy, Shannon loves nail art and Elemis facials. She is also a trained Elemis Peaceful Pregnancy masseuse, having completed her training at Elemis London academy in 2022. Outside of work, Shannon loves cooking and baking, and spending time with her family and friends.
Paula
Paula has 15 years’ experience as a certified Sports and Remedial Massage Therapist and 20 years’ experience as a Nail Technician, specialising in manicure and cuticle care. In Paula's spare time, Terry her beautiful warmblood horse comes first, with Penny and Hugo the dachshund and French bulldog as a very close second.
Aside from animal loving, Paula is also a keen athlete having completed 2 Iron Man competitions across Europe.
Keesha
Keesha joined us in October 2023 within the Sultana training academy, she works in the salon every Tuesday whilst studying for her NVQ in beauty therapy at Leeds City College. Keesha is currently enjoying facial treatments and manicure’s. Outside of college and work, Keesha enjoys looking after her two cats, her dog and cooking.
Holly
Holly joined us in September within our Sultana Training Academy, she works in the salon every week part time, while studying for her Beauty Therapy NVQ’s at Leeds City College. Holly is currently enjoying her Dermalogica training, and in the salon she enjoys manicures and waxing, her favourite gel colour is Rose Bud. Outside of work and college, Holly loves her dog Olli and spending time with her family.

Chemical Peels
A chemical peel is a cosmetic treatment where a specially formulated chemical solution is applied to the skin to exfoliate and remove the outer layers. This process stimulates the growth of new, healthy skin, leaving your complexion smoother, more radiant, and refreshed.
There are different types of chemical peels based on the depth of the peel: Superficial (light) peel, Medium peels and Deep skin peels. For optimal results, multiple sessions are often recommended, allowing for continuous improvement in skin texture and appearance.
